The work behind an ecommerce business extends well beyond its storefront. For Crazy Skates, the brief was to create an internal workspace that reflected how the team organised and managed everyday work.

That meant bringing boards, tasks and updates into a custom application, with access to useful supporting information from existing tools.

Workflow Studio, a brand of Tech Builders, designed and built a workspace around those requirements. Boards organise the work, tasks capture what needs to happen, and status updates make progress visible within each workflow.

Saved views provide different ways to see the same work. Original file links retain access to supporting material held in Monday.com, keeping that information within reach from the workspace.

Each feature has a clear job. Boards give work a structure. Task statuses show where things stand. Saved views help users focus on the work relevant to them. File links connect a task with its supporting material.

These details shaped the application around the business requirement: a useful place to organise work and find the information that goes with it.

The build brought these core work-management tools together in a custom workspace for Crazy Skates. Task information, progress and supporting links sit within a consistent interface shaped around its workflows.

It demonstrates the value of a purpose-built application: the business process defines the software, from the way work is organised to the information available within a task.
